Cllr Nathan Pardoe
I am Nathan Pardoe, a Cheshire Central resident and local politician. I am a serving Labour Party Councillor, first elected to Cheshire West and Chester Council to represent the Winsford Wharton ward in May 2019.

Cabinet Member for Inclusive Economy, Regeneration and Digital Transformation
I was re-elected in May 2023 and appointed by the Leader of Cheshire West and Chester Council to serve in her Cabinet with the Inclusive Economy, Regeneration and Digital Transformation portfolio.
I live in Winsford, Cheshire with my wife, son, and cat. My professional background is in software development and systems architecture, and I build scalable platforms that solve problems for people. I am a community leader who advocates for people and places, and I am enthusiastic about community-led regeneration and placemaking. I have also been a community champion as a foodbank volunteer and charity trustee, and have helped families in crisis.
I have been involved with the Cheshire Central Partnership since the development of the One Mid Cheshire Plan began in July 2023. I will continue to support the partnership to bring partners together, promote economic growth, deliver the action plan, and change perceptions of the area. We are starting from a strong position, and devolution is an opportunity to get a fair share for the communities that make up Cheshire Central. I am especially keen to see more training and employment opportunities for young people, and public transport that meets the needs of local people rather than private operators.
