I have worked for the Canal and River Trust for over six years as an Enterprise Manager, focusing on external funding and partnership development.

Canal and Rivers Trust
The Trust is a charity responsible for over 2,000 miles of inland waterways and is dedicated to promoting health and wellbeing.
My career in funding began in 2000, including 16 years with the National Lottery Heritage Fund, where I supported a wide range of organisations to develop projects and secure investment. A particular highlight was helping to bring over £11m into Pennine Lancashire, a priority area for the funder.
Alongside the Cheshire Central Partnership, I represent the Canal and River Trust on several strategic groups, including the Ellesmere Port Development Board, West Cheshire Culture Partnership, West Cheshire Heritage Forum and the Lancaster Canal Regeneration Partnership.
Although I’m not a Cheshire resident, I have worked in the county for many years. Much of my time with the Trust has focused on the Anderton Boat Lift and Visitor Centre in Northwich, and I lead on securing funding and building partnerships across Cheshire.
I live in south Manchester with my partner and our four cats. Outside work, I volunteer at the National Waterways Museum in Ellesmere Port, enjoy reading, live music, and walking in the Cheshire countryside.
